I've always said that the first teaching job I landed (the same position I have now) is a little dose of karma. I teach 8th and 9th graders, and whenever I get frustrated with a student's bad attitude, I'm reminded of my own hell-raising self when I was in 8th grade. (Let's just say my proudest moments did not occur that school year...)
