On Wanting More

I remember once being described as "insatiable."

Although I am happy with my life, I've always had the desire to be better, do more, work harder, look forward to what comes next. Always dreaming about tomorrow instead of being content with today.

Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing-- I've generally seen it as a fault, but today I came across these words by C.S. Lewis.

If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.

Gives me a little perspective.

And a little more faith.
